                                Empanelment of Advocates

Applications are invited for empanelment of qualified persons as Advocates in DCPCR for a period of one year. The essential qualifications are as follows:

1. Must be a qualified Advocate.
2. Must have at least three years’ experience as an Advocate.

• Must be residing in Delhi/NCR. Broad functions of the empanelled Advocates shall be as follows:

1. Provide legal opinion on matters referred to them by the Commission within the stipulated time-period;
2. Argue in Courts in matters referred to them by the Commission;

1. Prepare/Assist in preparation of the background documents, affidavits, rejoinders, implements, as referred by the Commission
2. Assist in drafting orders/advisories/summons in matters as may be referred by the Commission;
3. Undertake/assist in conducting inquiries in matters as may be referred by the Commission.
4. Or any other function as may be assigned by the Commission.

Please note that the Commission reserves the right to allocate any or no matter to any advocate. Selected candidates shall be empanelled for a period of one year which shall be renewable on year to year basis subject to performance and the need.

Please note that it is not a full time job and would not entail any claim for employment with DCPCR or Government of NCT of Delhi.

Payment shall be admissible as per the norms /rates of DSLSA or as may be decided by the Competent Authority.
